I purchased this book because of my interest in Graciela Irturbide -- I was not familiar with Sara Casterjon or Tatiana Parcero.This is a insightful and beautiful exploration of history and identity, spanning three generations. Great introduction to these photographers, and accessible for a general reader.As MacNaughton says in her introduction "The importance of women photographers in producing the visual history of Mexico has yet to be fully appreciated..." Well, this beautiful exhibition catalog is a step in the right direction.
